To tell as many people as possible about how much God loves them!

If you don't know God, you owe it to yourself to at least check it out.   Anyone who loves you that much deserves a chance to speak!

Let me tell you how you can meet God for the first time!

FIRST...

You have to realize that if you are a HUMAN,  you have done a lot of WRONG things .  In fact, if you have ever done ANYTHING wrong, you have done too much.  You see, God can't allow sin into Heaven because  Heaven  is perfect--no evil, no sickness, no cheating, no pain!  So if you have EVER sinned, then you can't EVER enter God's heaven on your own merits.  This means all sins--against others or even against yourself.

Think of it this way...if you had a child who you loved dearly,   you would be hurt if your child was hurt.  And anyone who hurt your child would be hurting you, too.  And you'd be ANGRY!!!  This is why sinning is not only against other people, but against God, too.  He created us all--we are all His children.

The bible says in Romans 3:23- "For everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

SECOND...

You have to realize that, because of God's requirement of perfection,   your sin has condemned your soul to death,   an eternity apart from God.   This eternity is a place where everything that God is has disappeared.  For instance, The Bible tells us that God is Love--that means this place has NO LOVE.   God is Peace, therefore this place has NO PEACE.  Understand?  This place is called HELL, and it's worse than you can ever imagine!  Think of everything that is bad about life--loneliness, anger, hatred, pain, anxiety--and this is what Hell is... FOREVER!

Romans 6:23- "For the wages of sin is death..."

BUT... GOOD NEWS!!!!

God has provided an answer! He knows that His standard is impossible for us  to meet.  The only way that we can be forgiven is to ask the one we've sinned against, God,  to forgive us.  And God PROMISES that if we ask for forgiveness from Him, He will give it to us!! 

Romans 6:23  "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

THAT'S GOOD NEWS!!!

But a price has to be paid, right?!?  I mean, someone has to pay--judgement has to be made against someone...

THAT'S WHERE JESUS COMES IN!!!!!!!

God, because He loves His kids so much, decided to pay the cost of forgiveness HIMSELF!  We wrecked the car--HE PAID FOR IT.   We burned the garage down, HE PAID FOR IT.  We hurt our friend with hateful words--HE PAYS FOR IT. 

Jesus lived a life without EVER ONCE SINNING!  NOT ONCE!!!   He was perfect!  And He willingly gave His life up as the required payment for the debt that YOUR SIN created.

WHY?  Simple...HE LOVES YOU!  He loves you like any parents loves their child, like anybody can ever love anybody.  He wants you to come back to Him because He misses your friendship.  Plain and simple--HE LOVES YOU !!

Romans 5:8- "But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

WHAT DO YOU DO NOW THAT YOU KNOW ??

You simply ask God to forgive you, and tell Him that you believe that His Son Jesus is the one who has made it possible for you to find God .  Try praying  something like this:

Hello God.  I have done some bad things in this life, and I realize that I have fallen short of what is required of me.  I don't want to go to Hell forever!  I want to go to Heaven!  I believe that your Son Jesus is the solution!  I believe that He died and paid my sin-debt COMPLETELY when He died.   And I believe that He came back to life to prove that the debt was paid.   Please send me the gift of your Spirit --come into my life and be MY father. 

NOW WHAT?!?
